GRAND PRAIRIE, TX — The front portion of Grand Prairie High School was blocked off briefly Monday morning as police worked to investigate a suspicious package that was later found to be no threat to students.
According to a report from KXAS, the classes were still in session and undisturbed by the investigation.
A letter sent to parents by the school says the district and local police are taking extra precautions in light of the four recent bombing attacks in Austin.
KTVT’s Giles Hudson reported on Twitter that a bomb squad vehicle was seen at the school.
At this time, there is no threat to the school.
